A British Sign Language signer is required for five days per week from the 1st September to work in a class of ten 9-11 year olds to support a physically disabled child with hearing impairment in this Ofsted designated Outstanding school. This is a one year fixed term contract initially, linked to funding.
The role will involve supporting this student for one day of the week in another school and mileage allowance/bus fares would be paid for this. Duties would involve supporting his education welfare programmes within a highly supportive team.

These roles will be to support ethnic minority pupils and an additional second language is a requirement. Responsibilities will include learning support, working with parents and involvement in the guidance and personal care of students. There may also be the opportunity to support our pupils who are on inclusion programmes in mainstream schools.
The Level 3 role would be based, in the first instance, within the primary department and the Level 2 role is to be based across the school in both the primary and secondary departments.
These positions are initially one year fixed term EMA grant funded contracts commencing on the 1st September.

A teaching assistant is required to work in this outstanding special school for students with physical disabilities to support primary aged pupils in their learning, physical and personal management programmes.
There may also be the opportunity to support mainstream pupils in their mainstream inclusion programmes.
