Year 9 Bendrigg Lodge Residential


On Monday 17th May 10 pupils from year 9 and 10 staff from school set off for a week in the Lake District to a special place called Bendrigg Lodge which is regarded as the ‘field specialists’ in Outdoor Education and has a highly commendable history working with young people. A ‘Multi-Activity’ programme was planned, encompassing a range of outdoor activities, from abseiling to caving. The main focus of the week was PSHE targets, along with team building and group-cohesion tasks to aid social development.

Staff and pupils had a great week with thanks going to all that attended!
