Saturday 4 September at Highcroft Community Centre. This will mark the festival of Eid and is being organised in conjunction with the Kashmiri community. Our purpose is to bring different communities together and enhance community cohesion, and we are pleased to offer a range of entertainments, including the following stalls:
- Resin craft gift and jewellery stall offering local products
- Short Islamic courses stall run by Stockland Green residents
- Employment advice stall
- Food and drinks stalls
- Other local entrepreneurs selling a range of products
For children, we have the following:
- Bouncy castle
- Car track racing
- Face paintings
- Arts and crafts
- Potential use of a football pitch and professional coach
We are keen to promote the event to the maximum extent possible. To that end, I would appreciate it if you could please share the attached leaflet outlining the details of the event via your school’s various communication mechanisms, whether that be the website CMS, parent newsletters and/or social media. I have also put together this tweet and this Facebook post – if you could please retweet and reshare, that too would be very much appreciated.
