Wilson Stuart School had a very special visitor on Wednesday 21st September – a dinosaur! It hadn’t escaped from Jurassic Park though – it was part of an educational day for students as they learnt about the pre-historic creatures through interactive sessions and fossil workshops.
This fantastic experience was organised by Kate Newcombe, Curriculum Lead for the SLD Pathway and was kindly paid for through the fundraising efforts of our wonderful Parents For Parents Association.
If any parents or carers would like to join this group who do so much for our school in both running and supporting events to benefit the students then please contact Liz Dean, Head of Secondary by emailing enquiry@wilsonstuart.co.uk with the subject “PFPA intrest“.
We will be having a meeting for parents or carers interested in becoming part of this team in the next few weeks and we really hope to see lots of new faces!
