Maths

Autumn
In maths we will be supporting our Celebrations topic wherever we can, using real-life contexts, such as baking, laying a party table, and sorting, matching and making. We sing lots of number songs and rhymes, and try to develop our understanding of basic number and counting, shape, spatial awareness, the same and different, and or mathematical concepts.

Science

Autumn
Our Science lessons give us a chance to explore our theme and relate it to what we know about ourselves, the world around us and, and how things change. This means looking at how we celebrate by handling objects such as food, plants and even sparklers, and lots of experiments, making, cooking and cause-and-effect activities.

Spring
All about Me. We will be learning about ourselves! We will find out about our bodies, different ways we can move them, things we can do, and sounds and actions we can make

Summer
How things change. We will look at changing materials, by heating, cooling, through cookery, by mixing and adding materials together.
