Humanities is taught within the formal primary challenge classes and the Secondary Challenge and Explore classes. The Equals curriculum is followed by our Explore classes, which allows our young people to transfer and apply their learning across subjects through specific themes. Within the challenge classes, both at primary and secondary level, the children follow a four year rolling cycle that develops the children’s understanding of different historical and geographical concepts and the role that they play in our modern society which will develop the children’s awareness of the impact our actions make on the world around us.
